The Fatboy tank has a number of brass tap outlets which are moulded into the tank during manufacture for maximum strength. To use any of the outlets, drill out the plastic at the back of the outlet with a paddle drill bit or holesaw and screw in the tap or pump fitting required.
Waterwall Fatboy has 1" outlets in the alcoves at either end of the tank. The 1" outlets can also be used to link tanks together, with the Waterwall Joiner Kit. Use a 1" paddle bit or holesaw to drill through the plastic blanking off the outlet, taking care not to damage the thread.
The 3/4" outlet at knee high on the front of the tank is for an easy access tap. Use a 3/4" paddle bit or holesaw to drill through the plastic blanking off the outlet, taking care not to damage the thread. If using this outlet, you will need to also use one of the lower outlets to access water below the level of the 3/4" tap.
Taps are not supplied with the tank, however your distributor will be able to provide you with the appropriate fittings for your needs. The tap outlets are all standard plumbing fittings and can be sourced from a plumbing or hardware supplier.
